[themecolor]From Cairo by Bus[/themecolor]

A budget option from Cairo is to take a bus (low budget).  It costs around 60LE  (approx. US$ 14-15) and travel time is between 6 and 7 hours to Sharm (500km) and 5 and 6 hours to Taba (450km).

There is one main bus station in Cairo called Abassea. Taxi drivers will know it. To Sharm El Sheikh and Taba the main carriers are the East Delta Bus company and the Superjet. Seats may be reserved up to two days in advance. Although bus times may change without notice, departures are so frequent that schedules are not a problem.
