Q. What type of diving is there in Sharm el Sheikh?

A. The area has a diverse ranges of diving sites; coral gardens, wall diving, drift diving and wreck diving. We have a dive site filter where you can search for dive site types, dive area and skill level. So before your fins even touch the Red Sea, you will know all of the types of diving we offer.

Q. Can I travel to Sharm el Sheikh by direct flight?

A. Yes, Sharm el Sheikh has an international airport with many direct flights from Europe.

Q. Can I dive from a boat in Sharm el Sheikh?

A. Yes, if you are a Certified Diver and hold a SCUBA diving certification. Most of our dive sites are accessed by boat, although we do offer some shore dives.

Q. What type of boats will I dive from?

A. Red Sea Diving College have a fleet of motor yacht diving boats; equipped with large kit up areas, saloon, W.C and sundeck.

Q. If I have not dived for six months, can I go diving in Ras Mohamed national park?

A. No. We highly recommend completing a check dive, so you can refresh your SCUBA skills, feel comfortable underwater and be correctly weighted.

Q. Is a 3-5mm wetsuit suitable for diving in Sharm el Sheikh?

A. Yes, during the summer months we would recommend a 3-5mm wet suit. In winter you will probably need a 5-7mm suit depending on your personal preferences.

Q. Can I hire SCUBA diving equipment from Red Sea Diving College?

Q. Yes. We offer a full equipment rental service, including: buoyancy control device, regulators, fins, masks & snorkels, and wet suits. Tanks and weights are included free of charge.

Q. Does your centre have Enriched Air (NITROX)?

A. Yes. If you are a qualified Enriched Air Diver, Red Sea Diving College provide free of charge 32% 12 litre enriched air fills.

Q. What type of SCUBA diving cylinders/tanks do you have?

A. The majority of our SCUBA tanks are 12 litre aluminium cylinders with DIN fittings or adapters.

Q. What is SCUBA diving certification?

A. It is an internationally recognised certificate issued by a SCUBA training agency after you have completed a course of diving skills, theory and practice dives. Red Sea Diving College offers PADI courses & certification.
